The concept is that in the present day aJV (almost Joe Vig) is
walking down the street when he gets distracted by a girl on a
bicycle and is about to fall into a hole. The hole happens to be the
mouth of a worm hole through the fabric of Lego time: the other end
opens in the early 1970s.

I like it! And the 'double time' scenario shows that Lego has really
evolved. I'm not at all sure I like the 'good old days' better...

(...) I was there then, *and* I'm here now, so I have time travelled in the opposite direction. It takes longer, and you grow old from doing it, but it's fun. :) I wouldn't enjoy going back to basic 1970's Lego either. I only miss those small (...) (19 years ago, 26-Nov-05, to lugnet.build.vignette)

Hi, Pictures are here: (URL) call this an "almost Joe Vig" vignette because I built it with the intent of entering it in a Joe Vig contest but I never got around to buying the proper pieces to build a "correct" Joe Vig minifig (on top of not having (...) (19 years ago, 25-Nov-05, to lugnet.build.vignette)
