  Re: Torii Gate vignette

(...) Hi Aaron. If you are referring to the brown tile on the very top, they are secure and are not resting. There is a 1 x 2 tile in the center, and a 1 x 6 on either side of it. One end of sits up on the 1 x 1 round plate at the end while the (...) (17 years ago, 30-Jan-07, to lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

  Re: Torii Gate vignette

(...) Nice solution. I was currently trying to work out how to make one myself for a project with heavy oriental themes. I think I will be borrowing this One question. How well do the plates stay on top, is it secure or are they just resting on top? (17 years ago, 29-Jan-07, to lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

Let me introduce the last vig of 2006. I have made it last weekend, it was inspirated by the videogame DOOM. The mutant human being is a must. Note the gate with the yellow striped slopes. (2 URLs) M (17 years ago, 6-Jan-07, to lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

Re: Lord Vladek and Mr.Freeze vignettes

(...) I love the Mr Freeze vignette. These and your other vigs are all pretty good but the Mr Freeze one is definitely the standout for me. Thanks, Tim (18 years ago, 19-Dec-06, to lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

(...) Well indeed an odd way to 'win' fame and glory are always good ;) hehe ....Shame there were not more entries-but all 4 were very nice. Perhaps next year there will be! Congratulations to my fellow Vig builders! Long Live The Brick! Megan (18 years ago, 16-Nov-06, to lugnet.build.vignette)

  Re: 2nd Halloween Contest results

(...) Now that is a weird way of winning a contest for the first time :) I guess it was the best solution though, a pity there was no more entries...I agree with Bruce though, Patrick´s vig was excellent and would have been a worthy winner ;) (18 years ago, 9-Nov-06, to lugnet.build.vignette)

  Re: 2nd Halloween Contest results

(...) Aw, shoot. As much as I appreciate the share of the fame and glory, I would like to cede my portion to Patrick Yrizarry for his masterful Addams family vig. That's my favorite of the bunch, and might well have been the winner even if there (...) (18 years ago, 8-Nov-06, to lugnet.build.vignette)
