Re: Joe Vig Meets a Lady (A Little Risque)

(...) It's a little off-color, but I don't think it's too bad. I mean, the violent mishaps to which poor Joe has been subjected might likewise garner more than a PG-rating, so Stephen is just pushing the envelope in another direction. For that (...)   Re: Joe Vig Meets a Lady (A Little Risque)

Nathan, cap yourself. I love it. It's a prime example of the sort of truly warped mindset Lugnet is all too short on. Good choice of faces and a good presentation - it goes from merely sleazy to disturbing very nicely :D. Soren (19 years ago, 23-Aug-05, to lugnet.build.vignette, lugnet.town) !

Re: Joe Vig Meets a Lady (A Little Risque)

(...) I, for one, did get a chuckle out of this. However, there are other forums where this type of humor would perhaps be more appropriate (and also more enjoyed!) :D However, what I do not like is that fact that this MOC really does not represent (...)   Re: Joe Vig Meets a Lady (A Little Risque)

(...) I...honestly...don't like it. I just don't like the idea of putting innocent Joe into "adult" situations like this. I prefer G and at the most PG rated humor for vignettes. -- Nathan Wells (19 years ago, 23-Aug-05, to lugnet.build.vignette, lugnet.town)

  Second fair themed vignette

Hi everybody. Here is the second vignette I make. It's also the second vignette with a fun fair theme. It's a shooting stand. Here's the gallery: (URL) Notice the picture that highlight the baby T-rex I used as a plushie prize. What do you think of (...) (19 years ago, 22-Aug-05, to lugnet.build.vignette)

  Two Joe Vig Vignettes

Two Joe Vig Vignettes First, I had this idea to make a pool table. I wanted to do a pub scene, but the pool table was too big. So I changed it to Joe Vig. So I present Joe Vig getting hustled at pool: (URL) Second, Joe Vig takes a very wrong turn on (...) (19 years ago, 22-Aug-05, to lugnet.build.vignette, lugnet.town)

  Re: Mustafar Duel

(...) Very cool! The glowing lava looks awesome! I didn't know there were 8x8 plates in trans orange...hmm...must pick some up... The posing of the Obi and Ani are good too, though Obi's stupid grin clashes a bit. Ah well, at least it's better than (...) (19 years ago, 19-Aug-05, to lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

  Viva Las Vegas!

  Mustafar Duel

I wanted to make another Star Wars vig based on a powerful moment from Revenge of the Sith. The emotional, climactic duel between Obi-Wan and Darth Vader over the roiling lava of Mustafar seemed like a fun idea. (URL) Click pic for gallery! During (...) (...) Thanks for the comments, everyone! I'm glad you liked it. I borrowed the 'splashing water' idea from my brother's vignette: (URL) Oiran's Ghost>. "Big Daddy" Nelson (19 years ago, 16-Aug-05, to lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

  Vignettes at Brickfest 2005

At Janey's request I individually photograhed every vignette at Brickfest 2005. I tried to include the MOC card in every photograph (although they sometimes appear out of focus due to the closeup nature of the photo). The gallery can be found here: (...) (...) At Janey's request I individually photographed every vignette at Brickfest. I tried to have the MOC card for each visible in each photo. I've upload the pics to Brickshelf at I'll let eveyone know when the folder is public. -Orion (19 years ago, 15-Aug-05, to lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

(...) Janey Cook's TV vigs (...) Scott Quirk's excellent "guess the Shakespeare quote" vigs. The blue-and-black item on the left edge had doors to flip open, with the scene, act, and play name for each of the vigs. (...) This one escapes me, but I (...)   Re: Joe Vig: Enter the Matrix

Hey Ryan, The way you've done the figs so high up, and the trans rounds for the bullets flying, is outstanding. As with others I'm not so sure about Joe down below. Bruce (19 years ago, 15-Aug-05, to lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

The first of the BrickFest vignette pics are coming in...

Check it out: Lost In Space and The Brady Bunch: (URL) A whole lot of vigs. I think I can identify at least two as Shakespeare vigs: Romeo and Juliet in the upper left rear, and #8 is a scene from A Midsummer's Night Dream. I have a feeling the (...)   A Hitchhhiker's Guide to the Galaxy vig?

Good idea! -THWAP- (URL) Zaphod, Arthur, and Ford arrive on Vogsphere to rescue Trillian. The flatlands, though, hide a mysterious obstacle to their plans...
