  Gawain and the Green Knight

Hey all, Ever since they released the KK2 figures, I've been wanting to do a "Gawain and the Green Knight" MOC. I'm quite surprised no one beat me to it... For those unfamiliar with the story, here is a brief synopsis of the opening scene: The Green (...) (19 years ago, 21-Jun-05, to lugnet.build.vignette, lugnet.castle)

  Re: Chess Vignettes

(...) Ok, I thought the King and his companion were in their starting possitions...and It´s to often the King die without being moved. Nice combination with a great game and Lego. /Andréas Rootzén (19 years ago, 19-Jun-05, to lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

Re: My first Vig! Willy Wonka

Hey Bill, I love the hat/hair combo. Legofreak did (URL) something similar> in the CCCII contest. The mushroom and candy are good too, but my favorite detail is the use of brown clips as chocolate covered hands. Very cool vig. Bruce (19 years ago, 19-Jun-05, to lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

Re: My first Vig! Willy Wonka

(...) Thanks, I had alot of fun building it. Now I am looking at alot of things through the vignette eye. They're pretty cool, cause it is something you can build pretty quickly, and still put a lot of thought and character into. Not the long drawn (...)   Re: My first Vig! Willy Wonka

(...) I absolutely love it, and as a fan of Tim Burton I am also really looking forward to the movie. Modifying the lego for the hair was a good call because Willy Wonker would not have looked so effective without either the hat or the hair. I (...)   My first Vig! Willy Wonka

Hey everybody! I have seen all the cool vignettes everybody has come up with so I decided to try my hand at a building one!   Re: Chess Vignettes

(...) Thanks, I've loved those ever since the first time I saw one in person when I traveled in Europe after college. It was fun to play around with different piece designs at that scale. Bruce (19 years ago, 18-Jun-05, to lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

  Re: Chess Vignettes

(...) Hey, No, that's supposed to be a knight. No way to get a horse in a 4x4 spot, but I figured since it was a basic knight-in-armor it would work. Bruce (19 years ago, 18-Jun-05, to lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

  Re: Chess Vignettes

(...) Thanks, Marc. I'm glad the actual chess set-up is apparent. I played around with it for a bit to figure out a situation that could actually occur in a game (this presupposes that the king is up against the wall and that the rook was covered by (...)   Re: Chess Vignettes

Great work as always Bruce, I especially like the 'large' (seems like an odd adjective to use in vignette context) park chess set! God Bless, Nathan (19 years ago, 17-Jun-05, to lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)
