Re: Statue of Liberty Jedi Knight by Nathan Sawaya Charity Auction

I know the post above is about an auction, but it should probably be cross posted to .build.sculpture and .starwars to discuss the MOC itself. Here's more about Nathan's Liberty Jedi: (URL) Bruce (20 years ago, 4-May-05, to lugnet.market.auction, lugnet.build.sculpture, lugnet.starwars, FTX)

  "odaibacontest3" Japanese group contest

Hi all, Check out (URL) this gallery>. My interpretation is that a Japanese LUG or fest had a contest with the constraint that the creation had to sit on a 16x16 baseplate (if anyone knows details about this I'd love to know more). There is a great (...) (20 years ago, 14-Apr-05, to lugnet.build.vignette, lugnet.build.sculpture, lugnet.build.microscale, lugnet.loc.jp, FTX)

(2 URLs) Doraemon - he is one of the most famous ANIME character in Japan. He is a cat-type robot and he comes from the future - 22th century. Cat? Why he doesn't have ears?
