Excellent representation! I love when people are able to get a sculpture just
right, which you've done. The eyes are a perfect touch. How tall does JB stand?
I'd love to see the sculpture in context.

Thanks Kelly!  JB stands just over 1 foot high.  Here's a pic of him hanging out
with a regular sized junkbot and some other models...

That's a sculpture I'd be proud to have on my desk. It stands up very well
compared to the other items you've got displayed, and the scale is impressive.

Speaking of standing up, did you have any balance issues? Did you have to stack
extra brick inside the back portion to counterbalance the large portion sticking
out front? Just curious.

BTW, my kids are now agitating that I build one for them. :) They've got their
own bricks, I think I'll turn it around on 'em and see what they come up with.
This is great inspiration.

(...) snip (...) Thanks! (...) He's obviously a little forward heavy but no, I didn't have to add any counterweight. His center of gravity is about 2 studs from the front of his toes. I built the legs first though and initially only used friction (...) (20 years ago, 15-Mar-04, to lugnet.build.sculpture)
