Hey there

I made this model with inspiration from Harry Potter owl Hedwig. I like the
books, but I am not a fan.

The idea to this model came to me, when I was experimenting with a human face.
It looked more like an owl, and then I started building an owl instead.
I like the nose very much. It is simpel, and it looks right.
Special feature: The head can turn around!
This snowowl is a special snowowl. It is only black at the head. Not at the
body.

I think its feet are kind of sweet.

Look at how I made the wings. It is made of wings from an airplane.

Love to hear your comments!

Leg godt!

(...) Very nice. The face is spot on, and I like the set back eyes. You also got the realism of an owl being able to turn its head 360 degrees! I normally don't like yellowed bricks, but it actually helps your model; makes your owl look like it has (...) (21 years ago, 30-Jan-04, to lugnet.build.sculpture)
