Re: Guess where my sphere's being used?

(...) Wow--that's awesome! It's even cooler when you build one (following your handy directions); try rolling it on a hard surface--it'll pretty much stop at a random point, it's so round! I'm not usually into exclamation marks (or even posting, for (...) (21 years ago, 14-Jun-03, to lugnet.build.sculpture, FTX)

Re: Guess where my sphere's being used?

(...) You gotta like this! I sat down to replicate it and found I had not enough 1 X 1 Technic bricks with 5 studs, nor 1 X 2 offset plates. Careful use of available parts, plus Technic 1 X 1's with hole, 1 X 2's with 2 holes, Technic pins, and (...) (21 years ago, 13-Jun-03, to lugnet.build.sculpture, lugnet.technic, FTX)

  Re: LEGO Koinobori

(...) That's great. I didn't know 1x2 bricks could flex that much. How many are there around each layer, and what is the diameter? Jason Railton (22 years ago, 20-May-03, to lugnet.build.sculpture)

  Re: LEGO Koinobori

(...) A stunning use of xtra 1x2 bricks! The complex repeated pattern is very pleasing and those fins are a great bonus! I wish I could make something half as interesting with the overabundant parts in my collection. (22 years ago, 19-May-03, to lugnet.build.sculpture)
