Two more mathematical sculptures have appeared at (URL) Scherk's surface and a Bour's surface. The latter is the biggest and most elaborate yet, and kept me busy for quite a while. LMKWYT, Andrew (22 years ago, 14-Apr-02, to lugnet.build.sculpture, lugnet.build) !!

Hi Andrew I must say I like your creations alot. It is fantastic what you can do with only 1x brick. I must try to recreate some of your new ones. Thanks for making dat-files available. (...) Thanks for the comments! I enjoy doing these surfaces partly because Lego is 'obviously' the wrong medium. I mean, it's rectangular bricks, right? Dude, I have to build these as soon as I buy some more 1x3's on bricklink. I still have the mobius strip. What actually happened with it is that I didn't put it on a large enough baseplate and it tipped over but it remained comepletly intact! Very (...)
