Hi All,
I would like to make a suggestion to LEGO, and all LEGO members for discussion,
regarding an idea for future LEGO sets.
This idea was the result of visiting LEGOLAND Windsor this year, and seeing the
LEGO Bust sculptures of famous people in the LEGOLAND creation centre building.
I thought, what about a LEGO 'multiple' Bust sculpture series? These sets would
be potentially very 'Big' with lots, and lots of basic LEGO bricks and plates. I
would estimate the number of brick elements could be large, at least 3000-6000
or more LEGO bricks! Even a small production run for LEGO sculpture enthusiasts,
would sell thousands of LEGO bricks.
The LEGO Digital Designer software could be used to download a library of Bust
sculptures from the LEGO master builders. The Bust sculptures could then be
viewed, and the sculpture plans printed out, and the bricks required, ordered
from LEGO Shop @ Home.
The themes for 'multiple' LEGO Bust sculptures sets could be Darth Maul/Darth
Vader. Beethoven/Mozart, Sir Isaac Newton/Albert Einstein, George Washington/Sir
Winston Churchill, and what about a bust sculpture of Harry Potter/Hagrid for
the Kids!
I think that everyone has a famous person or character they admire or respect,
so why not build that someone special in LEGO bricks,
regards
Robert.
