Re: Opinion on the Sopwith Camel?

(...) I have two great books I found at Borders Books a few weeks ago. They are the "Illustrated Encyclopedia of Military Aircraft" and "Illustrated Encyclopedia of Civil Aircraft" both by Enzo Angelucci. Between these two books they have most every (...)   Re: Opinion on the Sopwith Camel?

(...) Try this link, (URL) . I did a search on Gnome rotary, as that was the most famous one I can think of. In short, the cylinders and crankcase rotate around the hollow, offcenter crankshaft.   Re: Opinion on the Sopwith Camel?

(...) Wasn't this an intentional part of the design? I had thought that the radial engines of that era rotated around a central shaft just like the model. Mike (23 years ago, 19-Nov-01, to lugnet.build.sculpture)

Re: Opinion on the Sopwith Camel?

(...) Yes, particuarily if you like the model. Does it have good peices? yes, particuarily for black little 1x1 rounds with flanged ends. This set has two, they make the gun barrel ends. Like the ones in the harry potter sets only not orange. Also (...) (23 years ago, 19-Nov-01, to lugnet.build.sculpture)

Re: Opinion on the Sopwith Camel?

(...) Yes, yes, yes, and YES! The Sopwith Camel is a great set, and a joy to build. Adrian (23 years ago, 19-Nov-01, to lugnet.build.sculpture)
