  Re: Canadian Flag Sculpture

(...) Nicely done Jason. Just in time for that day when people go to the States to cross border shop! Calum (18 years ago, 20-Jun-06, to lugnet.build.sculpture, FTX)

  Re: Canadian Flag Sculpture

(...) Hello Jason, AWESOME WORK bro! I really like it and especially in a scale easely accessible to everyone. Now, knowing your roots, are you able to do a Swiss flag??? And whithout cheating... LOL Tschüß, JM (...) (18 years ago, 20-Jun-06, to lugnet.build.sculpture, FTX)

  Canadian Flag Sculpture

After playing around with Digital Designer for a bit I thought I'd try and actually design something using the available parts.   Re: Lifesize human sculptures for Space Gallery

(...) Wow! Great sculptures, David. The curves translate so perfectly to the brick. Did your software tell you exactly how many of each type of brick you needed to build them? (yes, I still really want it!) :-) Robin (18 years ago, 30-May-06, to lugnet.build.sculpture, FTX)

Lifesize human sculptures for Space Gallery

(2 URLs) I've been a haven't posted much to Lugnet recently, but I've been busy. I think it's worth the wait... I did three large pieces for (URL) Space Gallery> in downtown Seattle.   Seahorse Sculpture

(2 URLs) Kinda funny what gets us inspired. I've been working on a sea mosiac for a commission, and this is something I wanted to do for myself. I'm thinking about adding some coral around him, and making more of an ocean scene. LMKWYT! :) -Anne (18 years ago, 26-May-06, to lugnet.build.sculpture, lugnet.announce.moc, FTX) !!

Large-scale promo sculpture of Viking minifig

I found this on BrickShelf from someone's coverage of LEGOWORLD 2005. Looks like an official LEGO Master Builder put together this sculpture of a viking minifig as a promotion for the new line of sets. (URL) the image for an even larger version) (...)   Re: 3 life-size human busts built for Herman Miller "See magazine"

(...) I'd actually tend to agree :) I worked from a profile photo of a real woman... in the photo she was heavily made up (eyeliner, lipstick, etc), and it wasn't until well after I was a ways into the model that I stepped back and realized how (...)   Re: 3 life-size human busts built for Herman Miller "See magazine"

(...) Hey Sean! Pretty nice work! Although I have to say the red one looked like a guy with a ponytail and a moustache. I was pretty surprised it was supposed to be a woman! Still, nice work! Bill Vollbrecht <www.brickcreations.com> (18 years ago, 3-May-06, to lugnet.build.sculpture, FTX)

3 life-size human busts built for Herman Miller "See magazine"

Hi again, everybody! Back in February I was asked to build three life-size monochromatic human busts. They were included in Herman Miller's award-winning design magazine, "SEE", alongside an article about the humanization of architecture and design. (...) Felix: (...) This is so great! I love the expression, the eyes, teeth, and head shape are just perfect. And rowboats for shoulders! I love it!
