Re: Hinge 1x2 top and SNOT

(...) Here's a little variant that should be good for trains and space. Tim (URL) (19 years ago, 2-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.schleim, lugnet.castle, FTX)

Re: Hinge 1x2 top and SNOT

(...) Nice Idea - I'll have to use that sometime Jeffery (19 years ago, 2-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.schleim, lugnet.castle, FTX)

Re: Hinge 1x2 top and SNOT

(...) Here's a slightly more complex one (URL) might not quite work as pictured but shoule be adjustble to a working form. Tim (19 years ago, 2-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.schleim, lugnet.castle, FTX)

REPLY TO ME Re: Hinge 1x2 top and SNOT

--SNIP-- Sorry castleheads. Keep forgetting to remove the .castle from these posts. This one is in .build.schleim only so replies to it won't fill .castle. Sorry! Tim (19 years ago, 2-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.schleim, FTX)

Re: Hinge 1x2 top and SNOT

(...) This could create curves, arches or wheels by introducing angling on the sides. Using a technic plate at an angle, this is usable for stair steps. (19 years ago, 4-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.schleim, lugnet.castle, FTX)

Re: Hinge 1x2 top and SNOT

(...) Thanks Tim, that is such a cool idea, I had to build it and tweak it a bit. Untweaked with Brickshelf link: (URL) Tweaked with MOCpages link: (URL) Finished with Flickr link: (URL) You can see some notes on MOCpages and some of the (...)   Re: Hinge 1x2 top and SNOT

(...) Very nifty work Ley. I like the tiles and using lots of hinge bases rather than just one. What is the plate you're using upside down at the top of the door to hold it in? Must have a hollow stud but I can't work it out, Tim (19 years ago, 5-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.schleim, lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Hinge 1x2 top and SNOT

(...) Yep, very neat door. Tim, looks like jumper plates to me. ROSCO (19 years ago, 5-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.schleim, lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Hinge 1x2 top and SNOT

(...) Ross is correct. I wouldn't have come to that design quite so easily if you hadn't included the jumper plate at the bottom, Tim. This sort of collaborative building is what I really like about this community; I can't wait to see where others (...) (19 years ago, 5-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.schleim, lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Hinge 1x2 top and SNOT

(...) Sometimes I just have to admire my own incredible stupidity... jumper plates on bottom = jumper plates on top is kind of deducable. Peace and stupidity, ;) Tim PS. .build.scleim is where it's at (19 years ago, 5-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.schleim, FTX)

Re: Hinge 1x2 top and SNOT

(...) Heh. I learned to relish those moments right before my palm smacks the middle of my forehead. They may lead to growth, I don't know. Or, perhaps loopy palms... Peace and palm smacking, Professor Whateverly (URL) PS. It's always about the (...) (19 years ago, 6-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.schleim, FTX)
