Re: The Unofficial LEGO Advanced Building Techniques Guide

Hey Didier, This is a pretty good start towards a technique compendium, but I can think of a few things you missed. There's element stressing (as (URL) discussed> at Brickfest '06), and I think it would benefit from a section on articulation. After (...) (18 years ago, 12-Feb-07, to lugnet.build.schleim, FTX)

Wow! Thanks for all this hard work. There wasn't much not familiar in there (at first glance) but to have all this knowledge in one place instead of scattered all over the Lego web is brilliant! Thanks again! God Bless, Nathan (who is looking (...) (18 years ago, 11-Feb-07, to lugnet.build.schleim, FTX)

Anyway, after playing around with real bricks I came up with this system. (2 URLs) MPD> In my (...) (18 years ago, 24-Jan-07, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.build.schleim, lugnet.town, FTX)

(...) That's the back of headlight bricks though isn't it? I think even TLG have used them before. It was my mistake though... I should have said "bottom" not "back". Tim (18 years ago, 19-Jan-07, to lugnet.build.schleim, FTX)

Great window idea - not mine

(URL) The back of 1x1 bricks do make really neat small windows. It's such a simple technique but so effective. I know I'll be using this if the opportunity ever arises. Tim (18 years ago, 19-Jan-07, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.build.schleim, lugnet.town, FTX)
