  Re: Column for intersecting ribs

Hi Erik, while I appreciate the creativeness of that idea, I can't help but wonder why you wouldn't just start with "ribbed" columns (i.e. making the entire column cross-shaped to give the ribbed impression you find with a lot of buildings of that (...)   Re: Column for intersecting ribs

Very nice! Now all I need is for lego to find some of the 1x1 slopes that they ran off in old grey to make this work for my own MOCs... You've done the hard bit ; ) God Bless, Nathan Visit my brickshelf gallery: (URL) (pic=link) (18 years ago, 30-Nov-06, to lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.build.schleim, lugnet.castle, FTX)

  Column for intersecting ribs

Hi, During a discussion on the mailing list of FreeLUG, someone asked for some new parts to build Gothic arches (and their column). Among them, a "star" brick ( two 1x3 bricks intersected in their middle), an inverted "star" slope (two slope bricks (...)   Door

Hi all, Was going to surround this door by a tudor house but I'm feeling kind of uninspired so I think I'll just share it. Hi John fareaway friend! I am happy that my "Überraschung" (surprise) worked well. I really prefer to build a MOC first and then showing it online or at events. We had to many fans at the Germany forum saying and showing work in progress pics of (...) (18 years ago, 15-Sep-06, to lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.build.schleim, FTX)

(...) Hi Bryan, no, you didn't miss that part. But in fact last year I (and some other LEGO fans) had the chance to display some MOCs in LEGOLAND Germany. So my LEGO Venice was located near LEGOLAND's Venice. Holger (18 years ago, 15-Sep-06, to lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.build.schleim, FTX)

Hi Olof, (...) Thanks for you feedback! The PBY-5A Catalina seems to be a challenge. There is hardly any normal LEGO plate like surface: (2 URLs) (bigger picture) But do not show any sneak previews. Hi Aaron, thank you for your feedback as well. And yes, feel free to use these pictures as a reference for your own creations.   Re: MOC: Frauenkirche Dresden

Holger, Kurz gesagt, Ausgezeichnet!! Dresden's Frauenkirche (also its' Cathedral), was Germany's largest (as-built) Lutheran Cathedral.
