acronym proposal: STEWW, great MOCs by Moko

Hey all, I was just appreciating these great MOCs by Moko: (URL) (click for the gallery) He includes some detail shots that show the construction, and I was impressed by the intensity of the SNOT. Studs are going in every possible direction - up, (...) (18 years ago, 20-Jun-06, to lugnet.build.schleim, FTX)

Re: My Own Inverse Pony Ear Bus Stop (was: "Raeynop" schleim technique)

(...) OK, I realize now that what I said in the above paragraph is not technically correct. You can create cubes with pony-ear technique too, sort of, if you leave some space here and there (actually like I've done in the shelter which is half pony (...)   Re: My Own Inverse Pony Ear Bus Stop (was: "Raeynop" schleim technique)

(...) "Twixt Wall And Tube"? Neat technique! Your MOC does a good job of demonstrating how this might actually be useful. Marc Nelson Jr. (URL) Marc's Creations>> (18 years ago, 2-Jun-06, to lugnet.build.schleim, FTX)

My Own Inverse Pony Ear Bus Stop (was: "Raeynop" schleim technique)

(...) Yes, you are right. Sort of; it should be a 2wide plate (or a 2 + (2 * n) wide). This insight of yours and your reply to this (by now quite old) post got me thinking again about what this technique actually could be good for. The result was (...)   Re: About SNOT 180

(...) thak you for this clue. Adrian on (URL) Brique Technique blog> finally has linked to (URL) Kerouac BS gallery>. (thanks also to Phoenix from Classic-Space forum)1 Kerouac seems to be one of these pretty talented but unknown Japanese AFOLs. His (...)   Re: "Raeynop" schleim technique

(...) I discovered this fitting during some sorting. The plates had gotten 'jammed' together. Works especially well if you create a 'box' from four plates. Tiles work well too. And I believe if you use a 3wide plate between your other two plates, (...) (18 years ago, 26-May-06, to lugnet.build.schleim, FTX)

  Re: About SNOT 180

I think a japanese fellow posted pictures on brickshelf of that technique a while back. I tried it, but the connection wasn't robust enough for my application. I did come up with another technique though which worked for me. I wedged pieces of (...) (18 years ago, 23-May-06, to lugnet.build.schleim, FTX)

  About SNOT 180

Hi, The recent MOC (URL) "The rabbit"> by Felix Greco has pointed out (URL) a technique> allowing bricks to be stacked upside down (SNOT 180). This SNOT180 can't be used for plates. But it exist a tehnique allowing plates SNOT 180, using only (...) (18 years ago, 22-May-06, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.schleim, FTX) !

(...) Can you plug the LDD palette into your software and see how much globes of various diameters or in various color schemes would cost from Lego Factory? --Bram (18 years ago, 12-May-06, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.build.schleim, FTX)
