I have been a Lego Set collector for a long time.  I started a new job about 4
1/2 months ago, and my new job has taught me two things: my life has lacked
creativity, and secondly, I have grown up to be just a Lego set collector, and
not a creator.  So I have tired to recant of my ways and give my hand at
creating a mosaic.  My mosaic is of a very special friend of mine who is holding
an orphan she met while in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti.  I have posted a link below to
my Brickshelf gallery with pictures of the Mosaic.  The mosaic is made of almost
5500 Lego pieces.  I used only 1x1's and 1x2's.  I also stuck to just 5 colors:
black, dark gray, light gray (i believe this is also known as medium gray), very
light gray (i believe this is also known as light gray), and white.

This really is my first post and step into the Lego Community.  Thus, I would
appreciate any feedback or comments.

Thank you...

Well that's a nice story. Hey I have built many things for as long as I can remember, and I have got to say, I have never made a studs up mosaic like you have done. So we all have many avenues to explore! Congrats on your first "MOC". e (...) (19 years ago, 24-Feb-06, to lugnet.build.mosaic)
