Three new newsgroups in the lugnet.build hierarchy have been created for
the focused discussion of specialty building. Micro-scale building (as in
"microfig" scale) is coming into its own in a big way, thanks in a large
way recently to the efforts of Ashley Glennon. Mosaics, more "pure art"
than pure building, are also gaining in popularity. The sculpture group
was actually created a couple years ago, but it seems appropriate to
re-announce it, considering the interest generated during BricksWest.
CHARTER/PURPOSE

challenges, etc.

Sculptures and sculpturing with LEGO bricks: creations, modeling ideas
and techniques, tips & tricks, challenges, etc.

Good old-fashioned building discussions: creations, modeling ideas and
techniques, tips & tricks, insights, custom modifications, challenges,
element info/opinions, etc.
