I would do it but I dont currently have access to a camera and the needed parts arent in ldraw yet. The fig is as folows: take the pirate captain from the pirate island (has a hook hand, wooden leg, pirate hat and a yellow torso). Then replace the torso, arms, regular hand and headgear with that from a black futuron astronaut. Also take the airtanks and put them on. Then you have the fig I am after.

(...) I looked up on Lugnet's set database and found only one set called "Pirate Island". It doesn't have a picture, but does have a reference to another pirate set. Unfortunately, that set has only one fig which has neither a pegleg nor a hook. So (...) (23 years ago, 30-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.minifigs)
