Thanks Paul, that's exactly what I needed to see. Yes, these
creatorfigs do seem to be larger than normal minifigs and smaller than
Belville. They seem to be on the same scale as Fabuland minifigs. Should
set 4118 be in stores yet? I'd like to spend some time with the creatorfigs
before forming an opinion on them. Just from the picture that's available
in the lugnet set database, the creatorfigs certainly seem to have more
potential for accurate physical details than minifigs, but posability is
what makes the belville figures so cool in my opinion, and that's why I
really support a Belville-scale HP theme. It's not gonna happen, I know.
But a man can dream, can't he?
Also, I'd love it if someone can point me in the direction of the
minifig vs. creatorfig debate that matthew gerber cites in one of his more
recent posts to lugnet.harrypotter. For a moment, I thought that the set
numbers for the HP theme were in the 4100 series and that that would be a
dead giveaway as to Lego's plans to do creator scale HP sets. but then I
went back and saw that the set #'s are in the 4700 series and that sunk my
theory like a wiseguy swimming in cement shoes. So I'm eager to know what
this newsgroup really thinks our HP figuines are gonna wind up being.
