I know I'm not the only one that's noticed this, but isn't there a problem with
the Original Classic Space Minifigs? I bet the minifigs are screaming, "MUST
HAVE AIR!!!" In other words, where are the Lego visors on these guys? Yes I
know that visors were not invented till Blacktron I, but what could have been
running through the The Lego Company's minds when they made these minifigs?(At
this time they were The Lego Group) Well since I did promise earlier that I
would make minifig evaluations, here are some of them for Classic Space Figs:

My View On the Space Classic Minifigs: All I can say is that the minifigs are
kind of boring in ways, but detailed enough to have a decent Space theme. The
only problem is their helmets! Why couldn't Lego just come up with a visor
earlier? The best way to avoid the issue and have fun with these minifigs is to
pretend that there is a very transparent built in visor where the open part is
on the helmet. Sort of like one of those Lab helmets or the type of visor that
is built into Welder's helmets (You know Welders; The guys that use
blowtorches on stuff). The only other problem is the very little detail put
into the minifig's torso. The Space Logo just doesn't get your attention. I'm
not saying that the Space Logo is corny or anything, I'm just saying that
without any gadgets on the torso, the Body seems incomplete. It's kinda like
America's NASA astronauts going into Space with an America Flag Logo Patch on
their shoulders and nothing else. Weird Eh? All in all the mnifigs do range in
five different color schemes making it easier to distinguish Space Teams and
Squadrons in playability. I guess you could consider the Space troopers to be a
low technology group. It is also complicated to make personalities and
distinguishments on these minifigs because of their facial "Smiley" feature,
you could rely on color to do that, or switch heads from another minifig in
your collection. If you are fortunate enough to have one of these really old
and rare minifigs, enjoy them to the best of your ability.

P.S.- Sorry no pics cause I don't know how to post them! You can go to the
Fibbesnork Guide and Go to the Space section for guidance to what these
minifigs look like and what sets they come (came) in. Oh and if you like me to
add something on to my evaluations let me know. I'd appreciate any comments or
suggestions!!!
