Thanks to all!  Praise is inspirational :-) yes, there's more to come.

The rearing horse is done with a plate hinge - I've posted the DAT file here.

I also put a 1x2 plate under his feet so it looks like he's standing in the
saddle, and allows him to bend forward a little.  He's my favorite so far.

Neptune was a real quickie, but his throne is a bit more complicated
and is underway.  His head is that of the Adventurers' Professor Kilroy; I'd
seen someone use that head and beard for a wizard, and thought it conveyed
elderly benevolence, which I wanted for this fig too.  I think he'd look better
with a double-inverse 1x3 slope <part:2341> on the end of his tail (flukes)
instead of an inverse 1x2, but didn't have one in blue... anyone know where I
can get one?  I think his trident could be improved as well.

Oh right, the Island Keep...

Got some real film of this too, so watch in .castle for announcement of more
pics.

Cheers, Heather

and His Aquatic Holiness, King Neptune

Those are cool! =)  I like the big-eyed King Neptune with his 'fish tail', I
haven't seen that done before. =)  Looking forward to the real film pics. =)

Same here!! Neptune looks fab, maybe I should use him with the mermaids I've
been playing around with (thanks for the idea, Craig!)...

And I like the horse on his hind legs... nice effect!
