  My Custom Minifigs

The Blacktron troops are the most numerous and are (...) (24 years ago, 21-May-00, to lugnet.build.minifigs, lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  Re: Custom Minifig: Skull Man

(...) The head design looks sort of like a Storm Trooper... (I don't know what Skull Man is supposed to look like, but it looks like you did a good job) --Bram (24 years ago, 20-May-00, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

Re: Colonial Marines minifigs (Was: I have a question.)

(...) Nope. Not possible. :-, I *think* I got mine from a bunch of Exploriens sets. The "normal" helmets in Exploriens are dark gray. Also, I got at least one from a train set, #4552 Cargo Crane (1). Very well done, Sproat, as usual... Makes me think of all those great lines and scenes from Aliens... ;) EC (24 years ago, 17-May-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.minifigs, lugnet.space)

Re: Starship Bloopers (Was Re: Colonial Marines minifigs (Was: I have a question.))

(...) When you lose the armour, you lose a big part of the storyline--the corporate angle--right? It was half the book, forcibly extracted. But in its own right, it was entertaining, if only as a parody of "gung-ho" war (sort of like ID4). (...) As (...) (24 years ago, 15-May-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.minifigs, lugnet.space)

Re: Starship Bloopers (Was Re: Colonial Marines minifigs (Was: I have a question.))

(...) It was just all too phony for me, the way they all just chased the bugs around like a youth soccer team, then how they got pinned down in that fort like the Alamo. The hordes of bugs did look good, though. The landings were just boring. When (...) (24 years ago, 13-May-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.minifigs, lugnet.space)

To be quite honest, I didn't (and still don't) think that Heinlein's book would have made that exciting (...) (24 years ago, 14-May-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.minifigs, lugnet.space)
