Re: Ultimate SW Minifig Accessory - Tauntaun

(...) EXCELLENT and very cute! Maybe a little too much??? Not sure, will you paint it or ad some deco? Anyway I like it and wish you could have it product in quantities, some guys do that ;>) Bravo. (17 years ago, 27-Jul-07, to lugnet.build.minifigs, FTX)

(...) Beautiful piece, but aren't you afraid of the PETK (People for the ethical treatment of Kaadu)? Scott (17 years ago, 26-Jul-07, to lugnet.build.minifigs, FTX)

Re: Ultimate SW Minifig Accessory - Tauntaun

Ah, of course. That would be a better platform for this beastie and some fantasy beasts. It looks good enough to be a production piece! Sorry for the double post by accident while editing before. (17 years ago, 25-Jul-07, to lugnet.build.minifigs, FTX)

Re: Ultimate SW Minifig Accessory - Tauntaun

(...) Glad you like it. Isn't based off the dinosaurs. I seriously mauled a Kaadu for the skeleton sculpting all the parts I needed. Took quite a while to get everything right. Jared (17 years ago, 25-Jul-07, to lugnet.build.minifigs, FTX)

Really great! Is that based on a T-Rex body? (17 years ago, 25-Jul-07, to lugnet.build.minifigs, FTX)

Really great! Is that based on a Triceratops body or a T-Rex? (17 years ago, 25-Jul-07, to lugnet.build.minifigs, FTX)

  Re: WWE Superstars in LEGO

(...) "The Oldest Player in the Game" as we like to call him. My girlfriend and I always sort of cringe when he takes the cape off these days. Of course I used to cringe when any of the steroid-pumped musclebound wrestlers came into the ring in the (...) (17 years ago, 13-Jul-07, to lugnet.build.minifigs, FTX)

  Re: WWE Superstars in LEGO

(...) Thanks, Adrian. Glad you enjoyed these. Maybe I should also build Mick a collapsible folding table that is on fire. -Brendan (17 years ago, 13-Jul-07, to lugnet.build.minifigs, FTX)

  Re: WWE Superstars in LEGO

(...) Nice work. Now let's see the classics.... Iron Sheik, Rowdy Roddy Piper, Jimmy "Superfly" Snooka, "Macho Man" Randy Savage, Danny Davis (the corrupt referee), and my favorite, George "The Animal" Steele. (17 years ago, 13-Jul-07, to lugnet.build.minifigs, FTX)

  Re: WWE Superstars in LEGO

Brendan, I have been a huge wrestling fan for many years, these are great. Rick Flair is my personal favorite, perfect face for him :). And I just love your version of ring ropes in the background, you always show an amazing attention to detail. (...) (17 years ago, 12-Jul-07, to lugnet.build.minifigs, FTX)

  Re: WWE Superstars in LEGO

(...) Haha, these are awesome! I haven't been an avid fan of Rasslin' for a few years, but I was still able to identify a good percentage of these. Mick Foley's is my favorite. Love the Socko. -Adrian (URL) (17 years ago, 11-Jul-07, to lugnet.build.minifigs, FTX)

  WWE Superstars in LEGO

I'm not too proud to admit that over the course of the past year my girlfriend and I have gotten pretty into watching WWE wrestling. Last weekend we spent a day creating minifig versions of a bunch of our favorite WWE superstars and other wrestling (...)   Re: Will Indiana Jones license bring new minifig skin tones in 2008?

(...) The Asian issue has been neatly postponed for a later date by the simple fact that they are not going to be releasing any ToD sets in this batch. Three sets will come from Raiders (two of which are unlikely to feature any minifigs besides (...) (17 years ago, 22-Jun-07, to lugnet.build.minifigs, FTX)

Will Indiana Jones license bring new minifig skin tones in 2008?

Very interesting news! It raises all sorts of interesting questions. Besides the WWII vehicles/weapons issue already brought up, and the question of how these sets will deal with the swastika symbol so ubiquitous to the 1st and 3rd Indy movies, here (...)   Re: Minifigs On Tour!

(...) Well, I don't rememebr minifigs ever doing a virtual tor, but at least 2 sets have done an actual tour. Do a search on "Colin" and "Wanda" and look for messages in 2000.   Minifigs On Tour!

At Brickfest 2007, someone asked me if I had knew where to find pictures of Minifigs that had made the ascent to the top of Mt. Everest. I told that person to do a search online for it; I hadn’t heard of such a thing. However, that gave me an idea…a (...)
