I based the skirt on a statue of King Leonidas of Sparta, which of course I doubt is historically correct as it was made after his time so the artist I am sure added some of the style or fashion of his time. In the movie they wear a leather codpiece, but didn’t want to just put together the figure with brown hips or something and I thought the skirt looked better with the cape. So yeah it is a touch short, but I thought fitting when looking at that statue. Thanks for the comment.
