Got one of the small NBA sets yesterday, so I've had
a chance to examine the minifig, and it's different from
the standard minifigs.
1. Arm and hand are all one piece, so the hand does not
rotate at the wrist. Presumbaly this is to make it easier
for them to hold the ball. Also the arms seem to be made
of a slightly lighter, more flexable material than standard
ABS.
2. The two legs are attached together, so they move in
tandem. In addition, they have little springs inserted
at the waist to bring them back to center. So, you can move
them at the waist, but not independently of each other.
The head and torso pieces (not counting the arms) seem otherwise
the same as other minifigs.
