One of the ways that we are celebrating the move to new office space is by
having me "lego-ize" our personnel (plus families). For most ethnic groups
its possible to get away with using the stock minifig faces -- yellow is
close to a variety of skin hues. But, I have the challenge of one
Black-African family (a couple and their daughter). So, does anyone have
some ideas on how I could make a reasonable rendition of this one family
that does justice to their ethnicity? The only idea I've come up with would
likely look more like the vaudevillian "black-face" -- and I don't want
anything like that.

Alan,

The tie fighter pilot in set 7146 has a brown head, with no printing. That and a
Sharpie might do the trick for you. HTH.

Good luck.

Thanks for the advice, Henry. I didn't know about those brown heads. Now I
just need to find three of them :)  Off I go to BST!
