In a long overdue announcement*, I’d like to let folks know about the new
super-team that has taken up residence in Brickmond and will be dispensing
ABS-style justice to evildoers in the future.
Pantheon – The League of Plastic Gods brings together some of the most
powerful deities of various religious traditions. Together, these gods form
a group whose powers are nigh unstoppable. Led by the somewhat mysterious
Mister G., the League of Plastic Gods will ensure that the good citizens of
Brickmond and the world sleep easy at night.
The Pantheon’s roster currently includes the following deities:
Artemis – Greek Goddess of the Hunt and Virginity
Evening Star – Native American Goddess of the Night
Flora – Roman Goddess of All That Blooms
Ganesha – Hindu Scholar God and Remover of Obstacles
The Holy Ghost – One Third of the Christian Trinity
Osiris – Egyptian God of All Things Egyptian
Quetzlcoati – Aztec Feathered Serpent God
Thor – Norse God of Thunder
Adventures of the League of Plastic Gods are scheduled to be chronicled in a
series of animated features from the Animated Brick Company. Fans of the
Pantheon will see the gods take on such bad guys as Santa and the Easter
Bunny (legendary beings gone sour in their bitterness over not possessing
the same powers as mythological deities).
