Hey everybody, I just noticed that someone has posted unofficial LDRAW files
for parts 41769 and 41770 aka. 2x4 wedge plates, and in celebration of this
much needed part becoming available for LDRAW  and MLCAD users, I've used it
in a new MOC of the legendary F-4 Phantom II.  Pictuers of it can be seen here:

http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=18696

and a simple render of it here:

Furthermore, I've completed a version of my F-14 MOC with landing gear.
Unfortunately, I've been unable to make the landing gear integral to the
base model, but overall I'm happy with how it turned out.  It can be seen at:

and:

Now that the wedge plates are here, I will be able to complete many more
aircraft so look for some new models in the near future.

(...) Looks great! I've learned to look for your images on the Recent page of brickshelf...it's always neat to see what's new! Joe Meno (22 years ago, 8-Jun-02, to lugnet.build.military)

(...) Congrats Bruce. Your Double Ugly (F-4) looks fabulous. I also liked your new F-14 pics. The landing gear looks great. The F-14, the F-18, add a little bit of flight deck and some deck crew and you've got a nice little Navy diorama going. :) (...) (22 years ago, 8-Jun-02, to lugnet.build.military)

Bryce: VERY impressive! I'm active duty Navy with experience working on F-14's and I can tell you that your models are dead-on. I really like the Tomcat's engines and the armament on both aircraft. I'd love to get my hands on the instructions for (...) (22 years ago, 11-Jun-02, to lugnet.build.military)
