Hey everyone!

New mecha! Yah!

The tiger was just a testbed for the removable armour idea, this is what it
was supposed to be...

The pics are self explanatory, all of the armour is removable, ALL of it,
except on the arms, the arms are small though, so there wasn't alot of room
for removable armour there,

Lot's of articulation, fifteen points in total, a little too much maybe...:-D

Lot's of detail too, well, as much as I could fit...:-D

I don't really feel like talking much, probably a good thing....anyway...

as always, let me know what you think.

Credits to Chris for the stiffened hinge idea, I used it in the arms and the
legs.

Thanks

-Geordan-

WOW! What can I say? This is simply amazing. A huge leap for you, IMHO. Your removable armour is great. The posable inner skeleton is terrific. Weapons are good too. That huge shell firing gun look neat, as does the whip. The proportions on this (...) (23 years ago, 4-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) My favorite thing is the little antennae in the knee for a piston-like thingy...very cool! There is NO SUCH THING as too much articulation! ;-) (...) Glad you found it of some use! :-) Great job, Chris (...) (23 years ago, 4-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Fantastic mecha, Geordan! Every new model shows your growth in the areas of articulation and design. The removable armor is something I still haven't attempted yet, but over time I will try this. I had only one problem with the design-I didn't care (...) (23 years ago, 4-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

G- VERY impressive. I agree with Mladen-- this sets the standard quite high, not only for yourself, but for any future builders. The removable armour idea is definitely your territory now-- you've executed it with passion and professionalism. And (...) (23 years ago, 4-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) WHOA---WHOA---GIMMEE! I like it! That Is just AWESOME!! How did you get all the Dark Grey stuff? I'd try somthing like that, If only I could convince myself to destroy my battletech models... Well, I'll just have to wait to post my new stuff. (...) (23 years ago, 5-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) I know this is probably going to sound strange, but I like the prototype for the mech better than the mech itself. Still it is an excellent mech and it would be good to see what happend to the story line that is to include all of these mecha (...) (23 years ago, 5-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Good job. I get a feeling that 2002 is going to be a good year for mecha at the rate I've been seeing stuff come out. What make up the joints, just hinges? I'm guessing that you had to come up with some pretty stiff hinges to make him stay in all (...) (23 years ago, 5-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) Very nice, a evolutionary advancement from the tiger, well exectued. (...) mmm...mmm. Articulation. You can never have too much. (...) I really like the detail at the knee when I first looked at it I had to do a double take. sun (23 years ago, 5-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)
