So here is really my first MOC on a large scale and I really need some
feedback. I started with the intention of building a USCGC 270 but then once
I got into realized that the scale was more appropriate for a USCGC 210
http://www.uscg.mil/datasheet/images/WMEC-210.jpg. I have a lot of the
outside detail work to finish up and it won’t be exact it has been a start
with something and build it to be my own as it is my first one. Gotta start
somewhere and this was the biggest start somewhere I could find :)
The boat measures:
24 studs wide
168 studs long
Also I know that the ship looks a little short in comparison the the bow of
the boat. I have extended the whole portion after the bow by another 24 studs
from what is in the picture above but I don’t have an updated picture because
I am waiting for parts.
I have 2 sides to the ship, one looks more like the ship would if you saw it
in real life and the other which is in the picture above is completely made
with clear walls so that you can see inside.
Here is my always updated personal gallery link for anyone interested in more

It looks pretty good for a boat. I’m not a boat expert, but I thought that
Coast Guard cutters (at least US Coast Guard) had a large red stripe on the bow.
My grandfather claims to have invented this as a means for aerial recognition,
though I can’t be sure if he was actually involved or not. Anyways, I like all
the windows, and it generally looks believable to me.
