  Re: Tieran Marine Core Gear

(...) I know what you mean. I rather not destroy or mutilate them. If I cannot do it with current parts then I just don't do it. I have been contemplating molds. But I think it is so much more fun to figure out ways of working with what you got. (...) (20 years ago, 24-Feb-05, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Tieran Marine Core Gear

(...) I just got home and tried your solution, and then the one I proposed. Your solution didn’t work. I couldn’t get either end in between the knuckles of the ski skid. I then tried my solution with the my solution (6246a Minifig Tool Screwdriver), (...) (20 years ago, 24-Feb-05, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

(...) My guess is with one of these: (URL) But that's just a guess until I can get home and try it. Or until David posts the answer.. James Wilson Dallas, TX (20 years ago, 24-Feb-05, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Tieran Marine Core Gear

(...) NICE! I dislike most minifig weapons I see people make because they are either: composed of mutilated LEGO weapons, custom-made molds, or ridiculously oversized. HOWEVER... Yours are just wonderful David. In particular, The flechete gun, light (...) (20 years ago, 24-Feb-05, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Coast Guard Base

For last November's GATS show in Pleasanton, CA our club didn't have the usual waterfront models, due to members being on vacation, so I built this to fill in the missing coastline. It's a United States Coast Guard base with helicopter and cutter (...)   Plane assistance?

I'm working on a new model, and it's gonna be huge. I recently purchased the Lego Sopwith Camel set, and I was really impressed. So I decided to build a Spitfire about that size. Perhaps even a little bigger. I have a 1:32 plastic model kit I am (...) (20 years ago, 21-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.military)

  German WW2 Transport Truck

After seeing the posting for "Classic Truck" under Yellow's gallery, I immediately thought 6-wide German transport. Here's a quick take.   Request building tips on 4403 alternative model

Hello all, I've tried to build one of the (URL) set #4403 Air Blazers> alternatives that doesn't have full instructions: the jet fighter with two parallel tails and adustable wings.   Re: Latest MOC: F/A-18 Hornet

(...) Maybe this one will do, it's not 2 by 1 but it's the smallest plane I can make :-) (URL) Teun (20 years ago, 1-Feb-05, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.military, lugnet.build.sculpture, FTX)

  Re: Latest MOC: F/A-18 Hornet

(...) Very nice and detailed! I love it. Now, if only someone could figure out how to build a plane in a space about 2 studs by 1 stud... Then it'd fit on my aircraft carrier. It looks very swooshable, and the total studlessness of it rocks. Great (...) (20 years ago, 1-Feb-05, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.military, lugnet.build.sculpture, FTX)

  Re: Latest MOC: F/A-18 Hornet

Re: Is 1:40 minifig scale? (was Project YAMATO)

(...) I always accord minifigs 1:35 scale, possibly 1:32, because those are the closest "standard military" scales. But also, I go by the average of the minifigs' dimensions, which sort of implies they are 5' tall and very, very broad. So I am (...)
