I was told that if my Military battle scene was going to be displayed in
BrickFest it will most likely be placed, along with other Military stuff in the
Space room. Besides, although its mainly military Space IS involved in the
Conflict Zone - Global Crisis story line as it extends well past the 2030s, but
the story DOES start around 1980, which is why there's plenty of current modern
technology in the story.
I was thinking of giving particular factions space based weaponry like the USA,
China, and the World Union. Weapons like ground based Particle Cannons, nuke
missile armed satellites, and etc. There will be Moon Base operations for
factions like China, in which their space agency is a part of the Chinese
military in both the real world and in CZ-GC.
As for the gaming section, stuff like these are used for BrickWars. I'd itch for
a chance to go toe-to-toe against Ken Koleda's massive military army.
In the Town section, well this IS mostly modern and near-future era material. Im
also planning MOCs that'll feature urban combat, special operations missions,
and etc. Just look at the Combat Operations gallery in BrickShelf. Then there's
also the civilian side of the story.
Conflict Zone - Global Crisis is a reflection of the real world in a sense. Its
not just a stand alone alternate reality.

| (...) Heh. Did you miss where he admitted it was all just an April Fools joke? He does still have a pretty impressive force built up, but the photo he posted was photoshopped from somewhere between 10-20 different reposed shots.
