Just wanted to let everyone in .build.military know about a few cool MOCs
that popped up on brickshelf recently.

First off we have have Chraller Hansen's menacing looking MiG-21.  You can
see it here:

I love the Black color scheme - gives the MOC a bit of a "Firefox" look to
it, and the novel approach that Chraller used on the vertical stabilizer
that really tells you that his isn't your regular MiG-21.  The lines of that
vertstab remind me of of that on the Draken, so if I ever get around to
building that plane I may "borrow" (read ruthlessly copy) that particulat
setup.  Nice job Chraller.

Next up we've got Chris Paton's rendition of the monstrous Pave Low
helocopter.  It can be seen here:

I've held off on building the Pave Low due to the helo's huge size and the
number of bumps and bulges coming off the airframe, but Chris has managed to
nail both of these things on his MOC.  I particularly like the innovative
windshield design (complete with wipers - nice touch) and the complex manner
that he attached the engines to the fuselage.  Believe me, helicopters
aren't the easiest things to build, but Chris has a knack for gritty real
world looking choppers.
