Mmmmm. Finished it looks even better.
I've gotta say, now that I can see it more closely, that I'm
really intrigued by some of the solutions you've devised for
microfig scale warship details. The searchlights are my big
favorites, along with the 20mm Oerlikon single mounts with
shield. Sorry, those quad-40s just pale in comparison to the
minifig-scale version I saw *somewhere*...;)
And still, excellent solutions on the triple turrets and the
5" DP mounts. 5-stud-wide turrets work well for that. Not
enough pause is given to odd numbers of studs in turret width.
And I really appreciate the Kingfisher close-ups. Those are
neat, neat little things.
