I've been playing with power armor ideas for a week or so. What started out
as a tongue in cheek attempt at making armor something akin to Bubblegum
Crisis, turned into creating a full squad of armored troops.

Clearly there are similarities to Mladen and Tony's suits of similar size.
And, while mine isn't too earth shatteringly different, I'm very pleased
with how they turned out. The use of the Ep1 Battle Droid torso worked out
really well.

** Credits go to Mladen and Tony (and others if I've forgotten you!) for use
of the 'double ended' gear shift for power armor joints and to Tony for the
blaster design. I made variotions but his approach was the best for what I
wanted to convey.

(...) Hey Joel. I think these are great! I am a big fan of BubbleGum Crisis so I really enjoy these. Later. (22 years ago, 14-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

In lugnet.build.mecha, Joel Jacobsen writes: <snipped> (...) I just realized it was William Toenjes that should be credited for the blasters. Posting at midnight is bad for the memory I guess. And spelling too, it seems. Sorry William! Joel L (22 years ago, 14-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Sorry I fell behind on this. Being an insane anime fan, I must say you got the BGC look down, save for the small helmets and huge feet. Otherwise very cool. Take care, Soren (22 years ago, 17-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)
