Re: WW2 Minifig Accessories —Jeff Byrd
Well, with the overwhelming response of 1 person, I don't think I'm going to bother making these. Why should I spend thousands of dollars on injection-molds if there is no market? I guess all of the Nazi-purists don't want any (...) (22 years ago, 4-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: WW2 Minifig Accessories —Shaun Sullivan
(...) Ack! Don't take a lack of response to mean that there aren't people interested ... unfortunately, some worthy posts simply don't get the feedback they deserve, and it always seems hit or miss as to what items get picked up. I know I've been (...) (22 years ago, 4-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: WW2 Minifig Accessories —James Trobaugh
Don't get upset Jeff. You really didn't ask if people would be willing to buy these weapons, nor did you ask for any kind of feed back. If you want to conduct some real market research, then maybe you should give price ranges and availability, then (...) (22 years ago, 4-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: WW2 Minifig Accessories —Joe Meno
(...) Hm, there may have been one response, but over 2000 people looked at your gallery. I would be interested in buying new items for my minifigs myself, especially the backpack and helmet. Joe Meno (22 years ago, 4-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: WW2 Minifig Accessories —Dave Schuler
(...) Heh. And as that 1 person, I have to admit my post wasn't especially dynamic. I confess that I thought the accessories were scratch-built by hand, and I hadn't even thought about a multi-thousand dollar injection mold process. What sort of (...)          Re: WW2 Minifig Accessories —Shaun Sullivan
(...) Hey Dave, Jeff actually started in Space ... he's the proprietor of "The Little Armory", the store that sells all of the specatacular Star Wars weapons. To check out the quality and range of his current offerings, check out his shop, which is (...) (22 years ago, 4-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: WW2 Minifig Accessories —Dave Schuler
(...) Well that's just superduper--I'll have to check it out. Thanks for the heads-up! Dave! (22 years ago, 4-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: WW2 Minifig Accessories —Jeff Byrd
I love it. Only when I post a negative message, do I suddenly get some interest. That's just too funny. Anyway, now that my little response expirement is done, on to the good stuff. If you would like to see examples of my finished ABS pieces, with (...) (22 years ago, 4-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: WW2 Minifig Accessories —Bruce Hietbrink
(...) That's pretty much par for the course around here, Jeff. But seriously, how much initial response did you expect? Many of us already gushed at length about these designs when you first posted them, especially with a whole forum devoted to them (...) (22 years ago, 4-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: WW2 Minifig Accessories —Jeff Byrd
(...) Yes, but I was updating the pics with the new helmets. There are a few people who will definitely get the first few batches. (...) Never fear, I'm working closely with the CAD/mold designer on these. I think everyone will be very pleased when (...) (22 years ago, 11-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: WW2 Minifig Accessories —Gil Shaw
This is the best news Jeff. Your SW arms are proudly carried by most of my space characters. Upcoming projects might make your WWII line not only desired, but positively necessary! For any of those out there personally unfamilar with Jeff's (...) (22 years ago, 5-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: WW2 Minifig Accessories —Bruce Schlickbernd
(...) See, now these are the goodies I've been waiting for! The WW2 stuff is great and I hope it does really well for you, but I have my hands full with pirates and castles (and I simply didn't respond because I never saw the message until now). (...) I gatta say, all this stuff you make is really cool, but i been holding back on buying any of the your awesome Star Wars weapons in hope you'd do something like this, i especially love the AR and AK in shown on your brickshelf (...)         Re: WW2 Minifig Accessories —Jeff Byrd
(...) There is no BAR as of yet, but I think I need to make one. What you're referring to is the M1 Garand in the pics. There will be more designs before they go to the molding shop...like bazookas, 30 cal.MG and maybe more. (22 years ago, 11-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: WW2 Minifig Accessories —Marcus Gillebaard
(...) Oh, well, im not too good on my WW2 weps, but the m1 looks plenty nice then! Have ta buy a few of them bazookas too... Thanks, Marcus (22 years ago, 19-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.military)
