Heya'll, here is da first MOC for build.military, the luftwaffe's Focke Wulf.

Congrats!  I assume it will only be the first of many :)

Thanks Shaun! It is the first of a ton, expect pics of the SM spit within a
month (because it is a custom kit, like what MB does, rather than just a MOC)

And the p-51 within a few days hopefully, all I need now is a darn A-wing
cockpit!

*snip*

This looks fantastic!

Thanks Shaun!

At first glance I was afraid that you had beat me to it
... on my current list of projects (both underway and in the planning stages)
is an Me Bf 109.  Though they look quite different, the visual of a German
monoplane was enough to strike fear into my heart :)

Really! That's awesome! I was in the final stages of one a few weeks ago,
but the cockpit was so bad and I was so frustrated by it, I decided to start
on a different project and wreck what I had, it wasn't anything speical, it
was too small anyway. I got the pleasure of seeing one IRL at the tilamook
air museum a few weeks ago, it is awesome! Tilamook's selection of planes is
amazing, spit(two seater, MK III or something I think) p-38 (amazing
aircraft) corsair, B-25, hellcat, wild cat and three p-51's! It was a total
dream come true, I had never seen any of those planes before IRL so it was a
total experience, off topic a bit, anyway... :-D

It does look great, though!  I especially like the way you accomplished the
landing gear ... I've been mulling over ideas in the back of my mind for how to
best incorporate the folding wheels ... this is a nice idea that I hope to
steal ;)

Thanks, unfortuantely, the p-51 uses this style of landing flaps not the
focke wulf, and I didn't even use this on the p-51! oh well,

Please let me know what you think, this is not the best I can do, I think
this could have been improved if I had my whole selection of parts, oh well,
the p-51 and the SM Spitfire are on their way.

We're holding you to this, by the way.

Don't worry I'll come through, the wait to see the spit is definitely
volatile at the moment though, it's all dependent on the speed of my bb
orders...

Hmm, guess I'd better really get underway on that -109.  The Stuka's a sitting
duck otherwise ...

Yes you should! I can't wait to see it! How are you going to do the cockpit
though? looks rather difficult to fit a minifig in there and still get the
right angles, I'm sure you can do it though!

Thanks again Shaun!
