Re: Alpha Team's new attack chopper...

I like the helicopter (nicely done), but I have to say I found myself spending more time looking at the service vehicle. This isn't meant to detract from the helicopter; I guess I just liked seeing a well-done and relatively novel addition to a (...) (22 years ago, 29-May-02, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: Me 262

(...) I saw this last night, and then spent a couple hours mopping the drool up off the keyboard. This looks fantastic! Is there any chance Klaus (or his good friend and volunteer advocate ;) will provide a dat file? I'd love to have one of these in (...) (22 years ago, 29-May-02, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: Me 262

(...) That is a really nice 262 model. Thanks for bringing it to everybody's attention. I particularly like the nacelle leading edges (it looks like Klaus used UCS X-Wing engine bulbs there) and all of the ground carts add a real nice diorama feel (...)   I've redesigned my Superhornet MOC somewhat...

After looking at some photos of the Superhornet, I decided that the LEX's on my MOC were too thin and not the correct shape. I've posted some pictures of the new design here: (URL) a new render here: (URL) I've angled the underwing stores pylons on (...) (22 years ago, 29-May-02, to lugnet.build.military)

  Me 262

Dear Folks, anybody seen this gallery? (URL) "eastpole" Dobisch has been moccing again. What a cool model - I like especially the jet turbines and the landing gear. The complete front section is a great piece of snot-work as it seems. Leg Godt! Ben (22 years ago, 29-May-02, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: MOC: Jeb's Army Navy Surplus Store

(...) Todd, Wow, great, I love all the little details, even the back alley has plenty of details. Thanks, George (22 years ago, 28-May-02, to lugnet.build.military, lugnet.town)

Re: MOC: Jeb's Army Navy Surplus Store

(...) This is the tidiest store I've seen. If LEGO themselves made an army navy surplus store it wouldn't be half as nice. Well, mabye 80% as nice. Our a&n stores our all in underground street fronts (yes 2 of them, I'm in a navy town). Ha the alley (...) (22 years ago, 28-May-02, to lugnet.build.military, lugnet.town)

(...) Thanks Bruce, The little details were the most fun to make. Todd Trotter (URL) (22 years ago, 28-May-02, to lugnet.build.military, lugnet.town)

Re: Jeb's Army Navy Surplus Store

(...) Thanks Kevin, I decided to put the howitzer on the roof because I wanted it to be distinguishable as and Army Navy Surplus store without having to print out a sign. Besides the howitzer was really fun to make. Todd Trotter (URL) (22 years ago, 28-May-02, to lugnet.build.military, lugnet.town)
