  Re: Sidebar Updates?

(...) I'm not aware of much that needs to be updated. However, I would suggest adding Richard Parsons's escort carrier (which is on a subset of his Port Block page, indexed at .pirates) at the very least. (...) Hey, not a bad idea. I still need to (...)   Sidebar Updates?

Hi all, In case you haven't caught it lately, there's been a good deal of furor in some of the other groups about curatorship, page maintenance, etc. I wanted to solicit peoples' ideas and/or feedback regarding the .build.military sidebar. Some (...) (22 years ago, 8-May-02, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: Fieseler Storch airplane MOC by Klaus 'eastpole' Dobisch

(...) Just caught this, very nice! German planes are a goldmine for inspiration... Take care, Gary (22 years ago, 7-May-02, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: New Battle Carrier: HMS Venerable

(...) Thanks! (...) If you're referring to the green disks in the row that has the black strip running through it, those are actually guns mounted in open broadside ports. They're designed to be more powerful than the top mounted turrets, and fire (...) (22 years ago, 1-May-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military)

Re: New Battle Carrier: HMS Venerable

(...) That ship is awesome! I especially like the (what I presume to be) giant anti-shipping weapons mounted right above the launch bay. Are those pieces mounted on the side of the ship hatches for fighters, missiles, or are they something entirely (...) (22 years ago, 25-Apr-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military)

Re: Fieseler Storch airplane MOC by Klaus 'eastpole' Dobisch

(...) Ben, Having seen a 3/4 accurate reproduction of a Storch at our local airshow last summer, I really enjoyed seeing this model. I like the approach to the camoflage and that spotlight(?) beside it. That looks pretty keen too. Thanks for (...) (22 years ago, 30-Apr-02, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: Coast Guard Marine Protector Class Cutter

(...) I had thought about using the little yellow dinghy, but realized pretty quickly that it was woefully undersized for the space in the stern of the ship, and would look pretty silly, so I had to make my own from scratch. Glad it turned out well (...) (22 years ago, 29-Apr-02, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: Coast Guard Marine Protector Class Cutter

(...) Nice model, Adrian. I think my favorite detail is your little launch-boat. It's a nice alternative to using the ready-made yellow launch. Bruce (22 years ago, 29-Apr-02, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: Coast Guard Marine Protector Class Cutter

(...) Thanks. Maybe it'll kick off a spate of boat building, like I did with turbocycles a few months ago. Nothing like being a trendsetter :) Adrian -- www.brickfrenzy.com (22 years ago, 29-Apr-02, to lugnet.build.military)
