I can see how to make a tracked vehicle two studs narrower (but not necessarily with the 1/2 stud spaced bogie wheels) by using the 1x2 bricks with technic pegs instead of the 2x4 ones... or am I missing something there? Hey everyone! New mecha! Yah! The tiger was just a testbed for the removable armour idea, this is what it was supposed to be... The pics are self explanatory, all of the armour is removable, ALL of it, except on the arms, the arms are small though, (...) (...) Thanks. Unfortunately I couldn't figure out how to use any other kind of (smaller) wheels due to the triangular "guides" on the tracks. Also it cannot be made narrover. Christian (23 years ago, 3-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.military)

(...) Very spiffy. I love how you got the track wheels to be 1/2 stud offset. This unit fits in anywhere from WW II to arctic/antarctic expiditions of the 50's/60s (in different colors, say Orange?) or even on US ski hills of the 1980s (if they (...)
