  Holy Shhhhhhhh-nikeys!

Wow! Did everybody see the posted scans of the Final Duel sets? (URL) cheap-o set for Stormtroopers is nice and everything, but *DROOL* did you see the *perfect* Wermacht or SS Officer in front of Luke? And I just ordered enough dark grey Rock (...) Wow great job Bill! I love all of the hatches and the landing gear, The model as a whole is very realistic, great job! I love the way you did the ball turret up front and in the rear, very clever.   Re: Announcing PB4Y-2 "Privateer"

Maybe I will since all of my black and red is in the hull of my sub right now. I might look into it, (...) (23 years ago, 28-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.military)

I was doing a little MLcad practice and I came up with this: (URL) think it's come out rather well, although having an HO scale Roco model to hand helped enourmously. Steve (23 years ago, 28-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: Cockpit resource idea...

(...) The cockpit in my PB4Y-2 is fairly simple, but there is one key trick that you might like to include: using 1x2 plates with center stud to squeeze a 2-seat cockpit into a 6-wide space. I basically built a 5-wide cockpit and mounted it at 1/2 (...) (23 years ago, 28-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.military)

  Announcing PB4Y-2 "Privateer"

Some of you on build.military may remember I was asking for advice on building gun turrets. I finally finished that and many other challenges, and am pleased to reveal the results of my efforts. The Consolidated PB4Y-2 is a Navy patrol bomber based (...) (23 years ago, 28-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.military, lugnet.announce, lugnet.build) !
