  Re: Micro Castle

A nice collection of MOCs, I won't comment on which is best... ; ) Seriously; I like the drawbridge chains, a nice use of a 'town' part. One of these days I'll have to try a micro castle... Thanks for sharing and God Bless, Nathan Visit my (...) (19 years ago, 5-Oct-05, to lugnet.build.microscale, lugnet.castle, FTX)

(...) Cool moc, one question about the photo above, The black drawbridge cables seem to have a fine white fringe around them (especially the near one) that really helps distinguish them from the black drawbridge itself. Was this done as a post (...) (19 years ago, 5-Oct-05, to lugnet.build.microscale, lugnet.castle, FTX)

  Re: Micro Castle

(...) Hi Jason, Thank you for your comments. I seriously doubt that I can make a good castle even smaller :) The chains were a spur of a moment decision. I like them but not how bulky the bottom of the car shifter piece is. It looks even better just (...) (19 years ago, 5-Oct-05, to lugnet.build.microscale, lugnet.castle, FTX)

I love it! I like how you made the draw bridge chains. See if you can make one even smaller! =) -FLIP- (19 years ago, 4-Oct-05, to lugnet.build.microscale, lugnet.castle, FTX)

Amazing MOC! One of my fav micro-scale MOCs for ages, and definately the best town MOC in a while ; ) John Deer? God Bless, Nathan Visit my brickshelf gallery: (URL) (pic=link) (19 years ago, 30-Sep-05, to lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

  Re: Manor House

Hey Lenny, Great MOC! I especially like the roofline, and the door is an intelligent design touch as well. The shepherd's staff is great, and really finishes the scene...   Re: Manor House

(...) Hey Lenny, Outstanding! I think the biggest tip of the hat, though, goes to the beautiful and wonderful Tonia, as those sheep are really cute. The wrench piece as shepherd's crook is very inspired as well. Bruce (19 years ago, 29-Sep-05, to lugnet.build.microscale, lugnet.castle, FTX)

  Manor House

Built for Tom Rafert for NWBC as an award. (URL) Take notice of the door design - I spent a while doing that. Oh yes, and it was my wife, the beautiful and wonderful Tonia, who designed the micro sheep. Enjoy! -Lenny (19 years ago, 29-Sep-05, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build.microscale, lugnet.castle, FTX) !

  Re: Motorized microscale train

(...) A second alternative to specialized chain links -- and one I haven't tried yet -- would be Technic link-arms and pins, threaded around large-diameter tires. The magnet-holders can then be pinned vertically, and the curves in the "track" aren't (...) (19 years ago, 29-Sep-05, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

(...) I may have to borrow that design if I ever make a farm scene, Have to do it in red thou as a red fergie :).   Re: Micro Tractor

(...) This is really slick work - some very clever methods are in this micro - well done! What's really cool is that there no more than 15 pieces in this, and it gets the tractor across in a really iconic way. Great work for an hour :-)! Joe (19 years ago, 28-Sep-05, to lugnet.build.microscale)
