  Re: Microscale MadCat

(...) Hehe (...) Joel, Kitten's got my tongue! ;-P I think you've nailed the design here. I especially like the structural aesthetic of the droid "arms". Glad you found some inspiration! ciao&salaam -Andrew Saada (22 years ago, 14-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.microscale)

  Microscale MadCat

I guess it took the creation of a new group to inspire me to emerge from months of lurking and more than a year since sharing anything I've built to post some of my more recent creations. My most recent to be exact - started and finished tonight. (...) (22 years ago, 14-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.microscale, lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.general, lugnet.space)

  Re: Some new micro-scale equipment

(...) Hehe thanks Jeff! I guess Tobbe was right - walking draglines are a bit of an unknown quantity unless you know about strip mining, so I include a link here to a page with more info about "big muskie" (URL) (22 years ago, 13-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.microscale)

  Re: Some new micro-scale equipment

(...) They look terrific! The dump truck is spot-on. I have no idea what a walking dragline is, but it's impressive. So is the city crane. Jeff J (22 years ago, 13-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.microscale)

Re: Small Scale Death Star MOC

Thanks, guys. Once I get my new LEGO site up, I'll have a generic sphere and instructions. I do plan on making spheres of different diameters (and possibly variation Death Stars), but I think I should finish the site first... -Bruce Brucey-Wan's (...)   Re: A Few Small Contributions to Classic Space

(...) That reminds me, there was a miniaturized version of Town set 1592 by Cubo during the run of 1592 variations last year: (URL) another at an even smaller scale by Ulimy: (URL) (22 years ago, 12-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.microscale)

(...) Explorer. Both of those sets, though, are begging to be modeled at this scale. (...) Well, if the X-1 was immediately recognizable, then I guess I don't mind that it's a little chunky. :) (...) By all means, please do. Truth be told, I (...) (22 years ago, 12-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.microscale)

Re: A Few Small Contributions to Classic Space

(...) Thanks, Paul. The next base might wait a while, though... I need to have a masters thesis in library-ready condition in a few short weeks. OTOH, maybe I'll build something as a means of procrastination or as a way to decompress along the way (...) (22 years ago, 12-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.microscale)

(...) (2 URLs) (...) Brian, these are outstanding. I have both of those sets and I immediately recgnized them when I saw the page on Brickshelf. I especially like the Alpha-1 as that was always one of my favorite sets. Your micro spacemen are (...) (22 years ago, 12-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.microscale)

Re: A Few Small Contributions to Classic Space

Brian...these are awesome! I can't believe you were able to pull off a mini-minifig! The rocket base was my first plate base...this is a wonderful representation of it. Next Christmas I was thinking of making a mini scene of classic space - these (...) (22 years ago, 12-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.microscale)

A Few Small Contributions to Classic Space

As promised, I looked for my old microscale models in the basement this weekend. I came up empty. Where I thought I had put them I found only gutted remains.
