Re: Second entry for TGBSLILA, a work in progress

(...) Truly amazing, Aaron. I echo Martin's sentiments in hoping you can bring it to the MUGS meeting on Monday. Gets my vote for TGBSLILA - oh wait, I'm not a judge LOL ROSCO (20 years ago, 12-Jun-04, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.build.microscale, lugnet.town, FTX)

(...) Looks really great, is it comming to the QBD meeting on Monday so we can have a first hand look? (...) I would have thought federation square just required you to spill a pile of bricks out on the table :-P Martin (20 years ago, 12-Jun-04, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.build.microscale, lugnet.town, FTX)

Re: Second entry for TGBSLILA, a work in progress

(...) Excellent work Aaron ! Unmistakable streetscape even to the occasional visitor. The 2 types of trams and 2 types of buses and the train station would be my favourite parts of your display. Something like this would go down well in a show open (...) (20 years ago, 12-Jun-04, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.build.microscale, lugnet.town, FTX)

(...) snip (...) Wow! Incredible. Totally outstanding detail! I look forward to seeing the completed version. I wish there was some way I could convince you to bring that over to BrickFest this August. I hope you consider some progress pics along (...)   Second entry for TGBSLILA, a work in progress

Please note, this is still a work in progress.. It all began over a year ago when Paul Baulch mentioned that maybe a city in microfig could be done. I ummmd and arrrd over this for a while, and came up with this (2 URLs) But what good is a tram, (...) (20 years ago, 11-Jun-04, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.build.microscale, lugnet.town, FTX) !!

Re: New MOC: Grolsch Brewery Plant

(...) Wow, the whole MOC/OOC is beyond outstanding. From the overall design right down to the fine details. Nicely played! Janey Red Brick (20 years ago, 4-Jun-04, to lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

Re: BrickFest Micro Moc Display and Contest

(...) Excellent Christina, I am looking forward to seeing your Micro Moc at BrickFest. I think that bringing along pictures would be a great idea for anyone that would like to do that, which will give others a chance to see the direct results of the (...)   Re: New MOC: Grolsch Brewery Plant

(...) I'm glad you noticed the vehicles, since there are not many close up pictures of them. Here are the ones I do have: (4 URLs) The trucks are all 3 wide, the other cars 2 wide and the forklifts 1 wide. (20 years ago, 25-May-04, to lugnet.town, lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

Re: New MOC: Grolsch Brewery Plant

Cross-posting to .build.microscale, just in case anyone there missed this. All I can say is wow! I especially like the microscale vehicles. Do you have any closer pictures of the forklift in this picture: (URL) Another particularly clever microscale (...) (20 years ago, 24-May-04, to lugnet.town, lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

Re: Brickfest Micro Moc Display and Contest

Very impressive! I love how you've captured the topography there. However, the scale is soo small that it's tough to build buildings with. I think I prefer your scale in the Ostia MOC. Good luck with these endeavours! Eric DeGiuli "Erik Olson" (...) (20 years ago, 24-May-04, to lugnet.build.microscale, lugnet.build.ancient)

Re: Brickfest Micro Moc Display and Contest

Hi, I've been building a lot of ancient theme stuff in micro-fig scale. I'm planning on bringing some to Brickfest. Micro-fig scale is fun because you get something built quickly. I am currently working at scaling up one micro MOC. The finished (...) (20 years ago, 23-May-04, to lugnet.events.brickfest, lugnet.build.microscale, lugnet.build.ancient)

Brickfest Micro Moc Display and Contest

This is your chance to get creative, without breaking the Lego budget. It's my pleasure to let you know about the Micro Contest and Display! I'm calling out to ALL builders . . . The ideas are endless, but here is a bit of food for thought... (...)   Re: A little math concerning ships, containers and Minifigs

(...) Actually, they probably should be 2.1 wide or something. In fact I hope to see some of these at BrickFest DC in the Micro Scale exhibit... wouldn't a microscale dockyard and train container loadout facility be cool? (20 years ago, 19-May-04, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

Hi Janey, Welcome to Lugnet! I have to say I'm a fan. I was just looking at your Wizard of Oz creations--very fun. And of course the microscale things which I've twice highlighted here. I look forward to seeing more from you. Bruce (20 years ago, 12-May-04, to lugnet.build.microscale)
