(...) (5 URLs) Jeff, these all are very creative. The tanker truck and the dump truck look very realistic - very faithful microscale reproductions. The Coupe is also very nice. The Star Trek ship and the Frieghter are my favorites tho. The Frieghter (...) (20 years ago, 14-Apr-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.build.microscale, lugnet.space, lugnet.town, FTX)

  lotsa new (microscale) MOCs

I did these over the past few days: I made 5 MOCs simultaneously using all the pieces in set 4096 Micro Wheels: 1st, a tanker truck: (6 URLs) I was going to stop there, but wanted to make another MOC & this sport coupe is the result: (5 URLs) after (...)   P38 entry & other new MOCs

I built several MOCs over the last couple weeks, & here they are. First off, a P38 space contest entry. this started as a test to make a relatively sleek, all-enclosed cockpit from the 4098 High Fliers set, (thus the name HF38). the twin tails (...)   Re: Crystal Reef

(...) Something else that I just realized is that if they were generated forcefields, the fleebnork would have long ago eaten the generator and been freed to wreak havoc on the rest of the community.   Re: Crystal Reef

(...) Ok, that makes sense. (...) I imagined the vehicles were giant rovers - like perhaps semis or something with science labs inside. Oddly enough, i made out the rovers, etc easily (understanding what they were). As Ashley Glennon has said: (...) (20 years ago, 6-Apr-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

(...) I was thinking more along the lines of hollowed out crystal structures for most of them, hence the name Crystal Reef. The service habitats are really the only structures that look more like they'd have forcefield generators running (...) It's (...)   Re: Crystal Reef

(...) Certainly a fun idea - altho, i don't quite get the trans-orange rock pieces being city structures? forcefield domes? when the rock tops are on, the whole scene looks like a mine with little droid running around. Perhaps if a slightly less (...) (20 years ago, 6-Apr-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

  Crystal Reef

(URL) Some of you guys have come up with ways to make nano-scale Moonbase modules, but I figured why stop there? Why not make them so they'll fit in with a standard Moonbase layout? After all, there's an added potential for scale-based humor. When I (...)
