  Re: Crystal Reef

(...) Something else that I just realized is that if they were generated forcefields, the fleebnork would have long ago eaten the generator and been freed to wreak havoc on the rest of the community. And the fleebnork-hunting patrols probably (...) (20 years ago, 6-Apr-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

  Re: Crystal Reef

(...) Ok, that makes sense. (...) I imagined the vehicles were giant rovers - like perhaps semis or something with science labs inside. Oddly enough, i made out the rovers, etc easily (understanding what they were). As Ashley Glennon has said: (...) (20 years ago, 6-Apr-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

  Re: Crystal Reef

(...) I was thinking more along the lines of hollowed out crystal structures for most of them, hence the name Crystal Reef. The service habitats are really the only structures that look more like they'd have forcefield generators running (...) It's (...)   Re: Crystal Reef

(...) Certainly a fun idea - altho, i don't quite get the trans-orange rock pieces being city structures? forcefield domes? when the rock tops are on, the whole scene looks like a mine with little droid running around. Perhaps if a slightly less (...) (20 years ago, 6-Apr-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

(URL) Some of you guys have come up with ways to make nano-scale Moonbase modules, but I figured why stop there? Why not make them so they'll fit in with a standard Moonbase layout? After all, there's an added potential for scale-based humor. When I (...) (...) Thanks! Those two ISD's were actually last minute additions. I don't know of any dioramas that exist using that kind of perspective using the ships. But I've done one before using Hasbro AT-ATs. (URL) AC (20 years ago, 2-Apr-04, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

I do not have words to describe my reaction. I have been coming to LUGNET only a short time and seldom have I posted but this MOC makes me drool. Sorry to gush like a tween at a Hilary Duff Concert but OH-MY-GOLLY is this ever cool! The Santa Fe (...) (20 years ago, 1-Apr-04, to lugnet.build.microscale)

  Microscale by bccook

Hey all, I was away for a few days and was just skimming through the last week of Brickshelf and found this by bccook: (URL) it out--lots of classic sets in microscale. Bruce (20 years ago, 1-Apr-04, to lugnet.build.microscale)

Re: DS Imperial Docking Bay Details

Hey AC, Nicely done. I especially like the picture where you can see two ISD's flying by--playing with scales like that to imply perspective. Hmm, have you seen any dioramas that use system scale X-wings and TIEs in combination with mini versions to (...) (20 years ago, 1-Apr-04, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)
