  Re: Micro Rebel Fighters

I like the Y-wing, it's great, but the X- and B-wings just don't do it for me. The wings look wrong on the X-wing and the B-wing would look better with the wings out. Rob (21 years ago, 15-Dec-03, to lugnet.build.microscale, lugnet.starwars, FTX)

Re: mini MOCs; most from Designer set 4096

I have only 1 comment. The Pickup looks great, but the Hummer doesn't really look like one from the given angle. Rob (21 years ago, 15-Dec-03, to lugnet.build.microscale, lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: Mini pirate ship

(...) That's the first thing I tried when I built the ship, but I didn't like the look of it being just horizontal. I like the angle from the hinge, even if the hinge makes it a bit tall for a forecastle. Thanks, Peter (21 years ago, 15-Nov-03, to lugnet.pirates, lugnet.fun.holiday, lugnet.build.microscale)

  Re: Mini pirate ship

(...) Neat little ship! If I may, I'd suggest trying a jumper on the front two studs with a...what do you call it... U-clip? Much like you would do for a Cutter. Here's a picture of what I mean; apologies to Jason Mantor. (URL) (21 years ago, 15-Nov-03, to lugnet.pirates, lugnet.fun.holiday, lugnet.build.microscale)

  Re: Mini pirate ship

(...) Thanks. (...) With the 1x2 jumper plate, it just juts out too far in front if it's on the front studs. I liked the look better this way. However, I should probably put a 1x2 plate between the hinge and the jumper to put it a bit closer to the (...)   Mini pirate ship

For MichLUG's appearance at the Detroit-area Festival of Trees, I thought a mini pirate ship would be a fun ornament. (URL) it'll have to be a good glue job to keep this on the tree.   Re: Designer sets

(...) From what I understand - all of the designer sets come with an idea book for the pieces in it.   Designer sets

I just bought the Designer set #4096, Micro Wheels. It says the Idea Book gives instructions for 40 creations. I made the first 2 from the parts included, and could not make another without using the same parts used for the 1st 2. My question is: If (...)   Those creative juices just keep flowing...

Hi all, Recently I've been churning out a lot of MOCs, and even if a picture says a thousand words, a picture with a caption says even more. Therefore, I've gone up one step and joined MOCpages. All my previous MOCs (except my Alien Probes and (...) (21 years ago, 12-Jul-03, to lugnet.publish, lugnet.general, lugnet.space, lugnet.town, lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)
