   Hi all!

I’m back to building with LEGO again. To all the MOC posters, sorry for the lack of replies, but please know that I do check out everything that you build and greatly admire your creations. Now that it’s summer break, I’ll have more time to participate and reply to all the wonderful posts here on LUGNET, hopefully. ;-)

First off, I built a new mecha: “Rhino” Low-Level Air Defence Mecha.

Very sweet. I dig the colors and the overall bulkiness of this beast. Like the chin(?) mounted turrets and the toes. The little fan-like bits on the sides of the cockpit reminded me of the Junon cannon from FFVII, for some reason...

Cool! -Chris

Thanks Chris! Those “fan-like bits” are actually smoke dischargers; basically they’re tubes that launch either fragmentation/smoke grenades to help protect a tank when it has to protect itself from enemy infantry, or hide tactical manoeuvres (such as retreats, flanking movements, etc.) ;-)
