My next creation after the Pygmy was going to be something else, but I
really liked Tony's suggestion for a theme for March. Besides, this
thing practically assembled itself! Re-building it in LDraw was another
story, though... I really need a digital camera... :-(
Presenting the "giant" (well, on a microfig scale anyway) old-school
robot, Mazinger L:

That's right, just one small image, but this one was always intended as
a quicky. Besides, I had enough trouble just creating the picture - the
right wing and the "horns" (dinosaur tails) don't exist as LDraw parts
yet, not even as unofficial parts! I had to fake it - mirror the left
wing, cut and paste pictures of the dinosaur tail in, etc. Of course it
looked horribly fake on anything but a small resolution, hence the
current size.
Oh well. I might try again if I get a digital camera, or if the parts
come out for LDraw. Here's hoping you people have better luck with this
month's theme!

| (...) What program did you use? Where the heck did you get that background pic? This is great BTW! It's good to see people getting in spirt of community building! I the mech looks great and I hope you produce a few more for use to oogle over! t (21 years ago, 3-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)
